Vehicle Exhibitor Show Rules and Conditions
All vehicles on display must be taxed and hold an appropriate MOT certificate if required. Insurance must cover the driver and the use of the vehicle for the date of the event, in compliance with the Road Traffic Acts.
ALL VEHICLES ARE EXHIBITED AT OWNERS RISK.
2. Setting up
Vehicle pass holders are welcome to arrive at the events any time from 8.00am on show days (events open from 10.00am to the general public). It is requested that all exhibiting vehicles are in place by 10.00am and you are requested to park as directed by our marshals and please adhere to a strict 5MPH speed limit. We have a separate entry for exhibiting vehicles where ever possible to ensure that you do not have to queue with visitors.

We have limited camping availability for exhibitors at the following venues, £5 per person.
Chetwynd Deer Park – Saturday 20th April Catton Hall – Saturday 4th May
Breamore – Saturday 10th August Knebworth –Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th August
No advertising is allowed on any private exhibiting vehicles. Cars can be offered for sale but need to display a ‘CAR FOR SALE’ window banner which is available from the organiser at an additional cost of £10 per day payable on show day. All clubs are invited to display a banner or board with their name clearly indicated. A prize will be awarded to the best club stand. Clubs may use our events to promote their activities and recruit new members and sell club regalia.
5. Show Breakdown
Every pre-booked exhibitor is entitled to receive a show plaque or memento and entered into a draw to win a free place at our 2020 shows, as a thank you for exhibiting with us. Plaques are available from the organisers tent at 4.00pm or after award presentations. The draw for the free place at a show is drawn at 4pm and the winning owner must be on site to accept the award (full terms and conditions on our website)
All shows are open to the general public until 4pm, your co-operation is requested that no vehicles are moved prior to this time without seeking assistance from the marshals – THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT.
Clubs must assign a named person to be responsible for their club site and ensure that all litter from the site is removed
6. Concours Judging (where applicable)
Trophies are awarded in all classes, the number of trophies dependant upon the size of entry of each class. A prize is awarded to the ‘Best in Show’. All qualifying vehicles on display (except late arrivals) will be entered into the concours and trophies will be presented in the main arena at approximately 4.00 pm. Please have no fears if you do not consider your vehicle to be of concours standard – ALL are welcome at our events on BOTH days. The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding awards. Award winners agree to the use of name and car details being used in our marketing and publicity.
Barbecues are not allowed at any of our venues. Risk assessments must be produced for gas stoves but these are not permitted at Trentham Gardens.
Photographs taken by Gemini Events at each show may be used for marketing purposes and on our website. Permission is not required by law and we are not always able to contact each individual owner. If you are unhappy regarding any photographs being used please contact the office
Any fees paid to Gemini Events to attend the shows as an Exhibitor are solely administration charges and therefore in the event of cancellation or non-attendance at any event these fees are non-refundable. Under no circumstances will refunds be made to Vehicle Exhibitors that arrive at the entrance without their vehicle exhibitor tickets and have to pay to gain admission to the show at full rate. The Event Organisers cannot be held responsible for lost or forgotten vehicle exhibitors tickets.
10. WET WEATHER
In the event we have to cancel the show you are booked into, please keep your vehicle pass for use as a credit for the same 2019 event, we will do our utmost to contact you in the event of a cancellation. If you are unsure about the status of an event you are due to attend, please call our office (24 hour answering machine message with the latest show information) or check our website, this applies to all our events.
